Our Curriculum

The medium of instruction is English. Other languages taught are Hindi and Bengali. The Syllabus prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) is followed. Moral Science is taught to develop the moral and spiritual values in the children. Physical education is compulsory for all to build up a healthy mind and body.

Assessments

Examination & Promotions

Our evaluation system ensures continuous learning and fair assessment throughout the academic year.

There are unit tests, half-yearly and annual examinations. Pupils absent for an examination for any reason are not re-examined. In case of illness, a Doctor's Certificate must be produced.

Anyone using unfair means in examinations will be debarred from further examinations.

Promotions are granted on the basis of the whole year's performance. Hence, due attention should be given to regular work and attendance.

Progress reports should be collected and signed by the parents. Report Card duly signed should be returned within 2 days of its issue.

The result declared at the end of the year is final and not reconsidered. Answer papers of the final exams are not shown.

Maintaining discipline, respect, and a positive learning environment for every student.

Treat everyone with respect and courtesy. Greet your teachers and elders wherever you meet them.

Be honest in your behaviour at all times. Help the little children and old people. Do not hurt animals and plants.

Reach the school by 8:15 AM in order to be punctual for the assembly at 8:30 AM.

Be punctual, hard-working, and self-controlled. Self-discipline is to be cultivated with prayer, reflection, and understanding.

You are answerable to school authorities for your conduct not only in the school but also outside.

No act of indiscipline, insubordination, or disrespect to any teacher, religion, or community will be tolerated.

School diary must be brought to school daily. Anyone losing it should get a written authorisation from the Principal with a fine of Rs. 200/-.

Come to school in the correct uniform, neatly dressed.

Strict silence must be observed during the assembly and in the classrooms.

No one should run, shout, or play in the verandah or in the classrooms.

Students shall not enter other classrooms without the permission of the class teacher.

No one should write on the furniture or walls or damage any article of the school.

No electronic goods (mobile phones, cameras, pen drives, etc.), expensive items, jewellery, cash, or toys should be brought to school.

English should be spoken in the school premises.

All must leave the classrooms at the interval period and at dismissal in a disciplined way.
